LAHORE – On the instructions of the Chief Minister Punjab, a series of meetings with scholars belonging to different schools of thought are ongoing in the Home Department.

During the session, arrangements for the celebration of the Prophet's (PBUH) arrival and the overall situation of law and order throughout the province were discussed.

Provincial Minister and Chairman Cabinet Committee on Law and Order Khawaja Salman Rafique remarked that the Punjab administration has completed the arrangements for the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has issued instructions to all provincial administrations in this regard. Special events are being organized in all departments including educational institutions of Punjab on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Consultations with esteemed scholars of all schools of thought are ongoing under the leadership of the Punjab Chief Minister. Scholars have a key role to play in establishing peace in Punjab. "We have to rise above all differences and unite for the security of Pakistan. All schools of thought are on the same page for the security of Pakistan, " he continued.

At the end of the session, a special prayer was offered for the development, security and prosperity of Pakistan and the establishment of peace.
