NBP informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Friday that Hasnie's tenure had expired effective August 21. The disclosure was created through a letter signed by Mehnaz Salar, Acting Business Secretary, and addressed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the development follows a two-week extension granted by the federal administration on August 6. The extension took effect on August 7 and was set to remain valid for two weeks or until a new President and CEO assumed office, whichever came first.
