On his arrival, Major General Srinivas was accorded a Guard of Honour by the school's NCC cadets. He toured the campus, inspected the training and administrative facilities and reviewed the arrangements for the overall development of the cadets.

He inaugurated the newly constructed weightlifting arena under the 'One School One Sport' initiative. Afterwards, the school authorities briefed him on its academic and administrative activities.

Addressing the cadets at a special assembly, Major General Srinivas, an alumnus of Sainik School Korukonda, recalled his days as a cadet and the formative experiences that shaped his career in the Defence Services.
