Sindh Local Administration, Housing and Town Planning Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah chaired a gathering with a World Bank delegation to review property tax collection on immovable property and measures to strengthen local councils financially.

He remarked the revenue would be employed to improve streets, roads, streetlights and other basic infrastructure in the relevant areas.

Shah remarked towns throughout the province would be encouraged to compete in delivering better services to residents.
