While the Karnataka administration is recruiting to fill 15, 000 vacant teacher posts in administration schools throughout the State, numerous have objected to this not including vacancies in administration linguistic minority schools.

There are 3, 947 Urdu medium schools, where regarding 2, 73, 573 students are studying. Furthermore, there are 881 Marathi medium schools, 53 Tamil medium schools, 53 Telugu medium schools, and five Hindi medium schools in the State. "We have been waiting for recruitment for plenty of years. The administration has disappointed us, " stated Kaleem Ahmed, a job aspirant.

Another job aspirant, Imran Sharif, remarked that numerous candidates who have completed BEd, DEd, and TET qualifications have been waiting for recruitment for plenty of years. While some are unemployed, plenty of are working as guest teachers.

"The dream of getting a government job before reaching the age limit is not fulfilled, " he rued.

Meanwhile, a delegation of job aspirants from linguistic minority schools met Minority Affairs Minister U.T. Khader, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Rizwan Arshad and Chairman of the Legislative Council Salim Ahmed, appealing to them to convince the administration to additionally fill vacancies in these schools. The Ministers are remarked to have assured job aspirants that they would take up the problem with the Chief Minister.
