TECNO has continued a 5G version to its slim lineup. It kicked off off with the 4G variant back in June this year. Now the upgraded 5G version brings more battery, an extra camera, but no secondary dot matrix display on the back.

Meanwhile, the new model follows TECNO's POVA 8, Spark 50, and CAMON 50 series and adopts design elements inspired by the CAMON 50 lineup.

Notably, the CAMON Slim 5G measures just 6.39mm thick and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen carries TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.

Despite its slim design, the phone has IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 protection ratings along with MIL-STD-810 certification.

TECNO has additionally went on a number of touch features for wet conditions. While Rain Touch is designed for operation during heavy rain, wet & Oily Hand Touch Recognition 2.0 keeps the display responsive when the user's hands are wet.

Waterproof Case Touch allows the screen to remain usable when the phone is inside a waterproof case.

Meanwhile, the CAMON Slim 5G will be offered in five art-inspired finishes as shown below.

For context, the CAMON Slim 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G processor. The phone comes in only a single 8GB RAM option, but this can be paired with either 128GB or 256GB storage. There is no memory card slot for storage expansion.

TECNO has additionally included a number of AI features focused on productivity, education, health, and image editing, such as AI Snap Poster, AI Pet Together, AI Light Master 2.0, and more.

For context, the phone brings Android 16 out of the box with HiOS 16 UI on top. Tecno promises 3 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.

Meanwhile, the CAMON Slim 5G features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700 Ultra-Night main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The main camera comes alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter. It is an upgrade from the 4G variant. The selfie camera is a 32MP shooter.

Notably, the camera uses a closed-loop ball motor for autofocus and combines Optical Image Stabilization, AI Electronic Image Stabilization, and AI Shutter in a triple stabilization system.
