Thunderstorm forecast in 11 Telangana districts on August 19

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 11 Telangana districts for Wednesday (August 19, 2026).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very probable to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpalpally and Mulugu districts.

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light rain to drizzle is very probable to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32C and 24 C respectively,” the bulletin stated.
