US sanctions International Criminal Court’s president and top lawyer

The US has sanctioned International Criminal Court president Tomoko Akane and trial lawyer Abdoulaye Seye, claiming the move is to protect Americans, even though the ICC has never charged a US citizen. Seye is investigating alleged Israeli war crimes in Gaza.
