In practice, the GVMC Commissioner, Ketan Garg, on Wednesday inaugurated the photo exhibition 'News in Frames', organised by the Visakhapatnam District Photo Journalists' Association (VPJA) at the Visakha Museum, to mark World Photography Day, coinciding with the 187th anniversary of the invention of photography.
Mr. Garg went round the exhibition and enquired regarding a number of photographs on display. Addressing photojournalists afterwards, he stated, "Capturing memories through photography is a very important task, and preserving those memories is even more important."
