Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal has remarked the universities conducting the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, transparent and fair examination.

Speaking at a press conference at the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) on Wednesday, Kamal remarked provincial authorities and designated universities must ensure proper security and examination arrangements. New Restriction Imposed on MDCAT Applicants.

Notably, the MDCAT will take place on September 20, 2026, throughout 34 cities and towns in Pakistan and one international venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A total of 138, 160 candidates have registered for the examination.

He remarked the respective universities will remain responsible for printing, storing and transporting examination papers and declaring results.
