Warner Music Group (WMG), the New York-based music and entertainment company, has confirmed a significant expansion of its Global Tech division and official opening of a new international technology hub in Bengaluru on Tuesday.
The new hub would drive technical innovation throughout WMG’s global technology suite, powering key initiatives in music distribution, data infrastructure and products, from core data pipelines to audience and marketing data products. “It is central to WMG’s global engineering strategy. We are investing heavily in local leadership, modern tech stacks, and globally competitive compensation to attract engineers who want to solve complex, high-throughput systems problems at the intersection of music and AI.”
The Bengaluru facility is scheduled to open officially next month, with active recruitment underway throughout multiple technology disciplines that will build on WMG’s capabilities, according to the company.
